An MS Windows-based software, Multi Data Rescue is an application that is specifically designed to recover deleted or lost files from damaged, defective, or even scratched CDs, DVDs, HD DVDs, BluRay discs and other digital media. The main screen of the software gives you four modes in which to work: Mode A, mode B, Ultra Rescue, and Digital Media. To work in any particular mode, depending on the level of recovery and the condition of the disc, all you have to do is click on the tab for that particular mode. For example, if you have a really messed up DVD that you want to recover data from, just click on the UltraRescue mode. There is also the AccuRescue technology from recovery of data from badly damaged disks. The Device window lets you select the device you want to recover data from, for example, digital cameras and phones, memory cards, removable disks, and USB disks. Once recovered, you can then store the data in any desired location by clicking on the Save List icon.
